fair weekend

fair weekend was fun for all.  friends, rides, fair food and great weather...what more could one ask for?  miranda had seven entries in the kids class for her age group and four of them placed!  including first prize in the colouring contest!

A little Emily Love

Oooh....how I love everything Emily Falconbridge. I don't know how she makes everything of hers so yummy but she really does.  I did little "etsy" shopping and this is what arrived.  Homemade "bird" paper and red and pink art journalling goodness!

Woo Hoo!!

as i waited not so patiently for the bus to arrive, i wondered to myself how pathetic i really was.  all day i worried....will miranda get mr gunten?  will her friends be in her class?  will all of her wishes come true?  the answer was YES!!!!  off the bus came one happy but hot and tired girl!  hurray!!!  i can't believe that this is my baby's fifth year of school....my, my...look how she's grown!

The Days of Summer Have Gone......

that's it. labour day weekend has come and gone and the kids start back to school tomorrow. gone are the days of freedom, without schedule and timelines and we're back to bedtimes and lunches to be made. my girl made her own lunch for tomorrow...she is a big grade three-er now, you know!
